Right people, this is a highly niche infographic but round here we love highly specific data because it is usually the most interesting.

Created by a call tracking company, The Ultimate Automative Call Tracking infographic has collated a wealth of statistics and data which shows the key statistics fro telephone calls in the automative sector.

I am in praise of a company that takes their own data and turns it into a useful resource for others to see. I am also in praise of quality design. Companies that work in corporate industries have access to so much data that can be if great use to others and is the perfect subject for content marketing. Infographics shouldn’t be all about flashy subjects or whats the world’s fastest supercar or who is the richest celebrity. Data visualisation is at its best when taking in-depth narrow research and turning it into a visual representation (clue is in the title).

So, I am very pleased to see something fall into the above bracket.

The intro and lead in is beautifully designed and immediately pulls my eye down the page and encourages me to read more.

I love how the graphic uses bold single word intros such as Is, How, Quick, Top 5. I love the white background which highlights the zingy fresh coloured circles which illustrate the key data. I love the format of each section, the semi circle layout of the data is engaging and pleasing to the eye. Typography is clear and legible and teh colour palette is excellent.

Overall I love this infographic from MediaHawk. Niche, simple, relevant. Can’t ask for more. I say a 9 out of 10.
