R & R and RVing

I have a secret dream. To buy and RV and drive around Europe; wherever the wind blows me. Wake up in one place, have breakfast and then take to the road and have dinner somewhere new. Explore and adventure. If I could drive around the world in an RV that would be my life goal. I hate flying and driving across country is no better way to discover a place and soak up the culture. The journey is where it’s all at.

Of course, being someone who likes their (ahem) luxuries, I wouldn’t be roughing it in a camper van. I would have to go all out bus on wheels. Think, Meet The Fockers. A camper I am not.

Getting out into the wilds away from it all is hugely appealing but the thought of taking a roll of toilet paper into the woods or that feeling of your clothes being permanently damp and cold. That, is, not, for, me.

Once upon a time you had to take a tent and hope that bears didn’t learn how to unzip the tent flaps. Today we have the luxurious homes from homes that RV (recreation vehicles) can offer.

R & R and RVing infographic from RV Covers delves into the rise in popularity of the RV. This is a piece of content dedicated to the customer base of the website and offers a variety of facts about the ownership of an RV. Perfect targeted content for their market.

The infographic starts with a bold cartoon style RV sweeping along the road and immediately tells you what the subject is.

We roll into stats about the volumes of RV sales over the years, representing the rise in popularity.

Then, meander into why Americans love their RVs so much.

Neatly navigating through a few facts and snippets about RVs. Such as, RVs were 100 in 2010. I can’t believe that they have been around for so long.

Overall this graphic uses great illustration, good typography, sympathetic colour palette, interesting and relevant information and is well laid out.

An 8.5 out of 10.
