I talked recently about solar panels and how I feel they are a complete no brainer to me. I think that solar panels should be compulsory for every new build, house, flat and commercial building. Especially factories and industrial locations – think how many panels they could fit on their roof.

I can recall having solar calculators at school many years ago. And, my Grandad had a solar calculator that was so old it had the original red LCD display – amazing. Why is it taking so long for solar to be more mainstream?

We then move into requirements. Is your home suitable for solar panels? E.g. can your roof support the weight? (I would never have thought of that).

Next we are informed about the cost and investment and finally we are reassured with benefits (of which there are many – its FREE power and you can even MAKE money!). I am amused that the only disadvantage that could be listed is that solar panels don’t work at night! Made me chuckle that they slipped that in.

The colour palette is a crisp green, blue and yellow which represents the subject. The illustrations are an attractive and simple style. All the information is clearly delivered in a good flow down the page. For anyone considering moving to solar panels this is a great infographic to educate on the main points. Perfect content for a solar website.
