Digital Britain vs Digital Europe, how do we compare?  There is a lot of pressure on governments across the EU to invest in faster broadband and to encourage businesses to do more online.  This is part of an effort to boost the digital economy and to limit exposure to the financial services industry.  We can see that despite British buyers leading the way in terms of buying online, British businesses are far from leading the way and are not as active online as other European businesses.

We can also see that broadband speed has grown massively in the UK with a higher percentage of people having faster broadband.  This is a little surprising if you live in the UK where most people tend to complain about their broadband speeds!
